Establishment in 1967
Since its establishment in 1967, aT has been committed to boosting the income of farmers and fishermen and promoting the balanced development of the national economy. It achieves this by stabilizing the supply and demand of agricultural products and optimizing the distribution structure, employing more than 300 staff members.

Our Challenge and Mission
Today, the agriculture and fisheries industry is undergoing an unprecedented era of transformation, driven by factors such as climate change, shifts in the distribution landscape, and evolving consumption trends. All executives and employees at aT will proactively adapt to these changes: we will ensure a stable supply of food that people can consume with confidence, and strive to enhance the quality of life for the public. To strengthen food security, we will address uncertainties in the supply and demand of agricultural products, secure the production and consumption bases of domestic agricultural goods, and build a distribution ecosystem that benefits both producers and consumers, all while advancing the digital transformation of agricultural product distribution.

Exporting to the USA, Japan, Hong Kong SAR, the EU, and Indonesia
Additionally, we will expand overseas exports by enhancing the global competitiveness of agricultural and fishery products, and increase farmers' and fishermen's income through mutually beneficial growth between the agriculture/fisheries sector and food service enterprises. We also support our member entities in their export efforts: their products are sold to markets including the USA, Japan, Hong Kong SAR, the EU, and Indonesia, with most members also accepting small-volume orders.

Our Company Vision
Looking ahead, aT is dedicated to building a "100-year enterprise", one that leads the innovative growth of the agriculture and fisheries industry and earns the trust of the people.

Management

CEO greetings
Since its founding in 1967, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) has been committed to improving the income of farmers and fishermen and contributing to the balanced development of Korea's economy. Today, our agriculture faces major challenges: climate change, population decline, and an aging society. aT is responding proactively to these shifts, striving to build a strong Korea where farmers and fishermen thrive and to expand the reach of Korean food through increased agro-fishery exports.

To this end, we are focusing on eco-friendly, low-carbon agriculture, improved seed and crop varieties, and advanced cold storage reserve centers to ensure stable production and food security. We are also transforming the distribution system to benefit both producers and consumers, and shifting our focus from rice alone to five staple grains (rice, wheat, soybeans, corn, barley) against the weaponization of food. Furthermore, by promoting K-Food exports as a national growth engine, we will continue expanding Korea's global food footprint.

Farmers and fishermen are responsible for feeding Korea's 52 million citizens. Their success is the foundation for Korea to become a strong, advanced nation. For over 50 years, aT has worked to ensure sustainable agricultural growth. We will continue initiatives that can directly support farmers and fishermen in the field, and promote innovation to protect the future of our agro-fisheries industry.

aT will spearhead the journey toward a Korea where farming and fishing communities prosper and Korea's food territory expands through global agro-fishery exports.
